Michael Hayes, KU

Michael (3L, KU) already has a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Dallas Constantin College of Liberal Arts, and a M.A. from the University of Kansas.  He successfully defended his doctoral dissertation in philosophy on April 23.
His dissertation, “Thomistic Approaches to Welfare Theory,” defended Thomas Aquinas’ views on human happiness and well-being. Michael entered KU’s philosophy graduate program in 2012, and will graduate from KU next month with both a J.D. and a PhD.
