Candidates for the Weigand Scholarships compete for awards by completing a simple application and review process. 

Applications are available year-round and must be post marked or delivered to our office by February 15th of each year for consideration for the upcoming school year.  

Please note:  Only complete application packets will be reviewed.  For completion requirements, click here. When complete, applications are processed and prepared for presentation to our selection committee.

The Weigand Trust's selection committee has a passion for carrying out Mr. Weigand's desires when reviewing and selecting candidates.  Special attention is paid to the Personal Statements submitted with each application.

Final candidates may be asked to interview.  Students who are asked to interview are contacted by email, phone and/or regular mail to schedule an interview with the selection committee or member. 

Initial offers to winners will be extended during the last week of March.  As soon as all scholarships have been accepted, remaining applicants will be notified via mail.
