While at Duke, Jennifer majored in Political Science with a Concentration in International Relations, minored in mathematics, and received a Certificate in Markets and Management. After graduation from Duke, Jennifer was employed with Intrust Bank in Wichita, KS as an Investments Analyst. Rodney Pitts, Executive Vice President at Intrust Bank believes Jennifer is following the right path by going into law. “Jenn will be an excellent contribution to the legal community. Her high work ethic combined with intellect and discernment are traits that will contribute to her continued success.”

During law school summers, Jenifer worked for Professor Nagle (Notre Dame), doing research about environmental law and for Professor Casey (Notre Dame), doing research regarding securities law. She also volunteers with Pet Refuge, a local animal shelter.

Curfman ranks being a Weigand Scholar among her greatest achievements. “Receiving this scholarship is a huge honor. In addition to the financial benefits, the Weigand Scholarship has and will continue to open doors for me throughout my legal career.

In June, 2013, Curfman accepted a position as Counsel for Koch Companies Public Sector, LLC in their Business and Transactional Law area.
